This past Saturday Anurag and Avi went to watch 'Space Chimps' - Avi's first movie in theater. For a total movie buff family that we are, 3 years and 8 months was too long a time period to keep their child blind to big screen experience. Anurag had been waiting a long time to watch a movie in hall after consoling his heart for nearly 4 years that our home theater system and 42 inches screen is not so bad.
Avi came home and could not stop talking about the "BIG TV". He said it was a bigger TV than mine. "Mine" ? Usually he refers to all things in our house as "Ours". Suddenly after realizing that there is a bigger screen out there, our 42 inches became very old fashioned and thus it became "Mine". Anurag told me that he sat in Anurag's lap the entire time . Not because of the darkness he said, it was because his chair kept folding up. And his favorite part was not related to the movie at all. It was the video games that they have in the theater. "Just like 'Dave and Busters Mommy", he said.
